Betrayed Trust: The Deceptive Practices of Gangwhoo Hospital Exposed
In the pursuit of cosmetic treatments, trust between patients and medical professionals is paramount. However, what happens when that trust is shattered by deceitful practices and blatant disregard for patient agreements? This is the sobering reality that unfolded during my second laser treatment session at GangWhoo Hospital, where I was confronted with astonishing revelations and a disturbing lack of transparency.
Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, I was informed by GangWhoo Hospital staff that I had only paid for one laser treatment session and would need to pay an additional fee for another session. This came as a shock to me, as I distinctly remembered agreeing to two sessions during my initial consultation. I would not have agreed to the price had it been for only one session. Firmly believing that I had been misled, I adamantly insisted on the terms of our agreement.
To my surprise, GangWhoo Hospital produced an audio recording of my consultation, revealing that they had recorded our conversation without my knowledge or consent—a practice that was never disclosed to me. However, the revelation of the recording only deepened my skepticism, as the portion played for me conveniently omitted any mention of multiple treatment sessions.
Determined to uncover the truth, I requested to hear the recording from the beginning. To my dismay, the recording revealed clear and unequivocal evidence of our agreement for two laser treatment sessions, spaced 14 days apart. Armed with this undeniable proof, I expected GangWhoo Hospital to honor our agreement and proceed with the second session as planned.
Instead, what followed was a series of astonishing excuses and attempts to evade accountability. GangWhoo Hospital claimed that the agreement for two sessions was lost in translation—an assertion that strained credulity given the clarity of our conversation on the recording. Despite the overwhelming evidence in my favor, GangWhoo Hospital refused to acknowledge their error and insisted on charging me additional fees for the second session.
To add insult to injury, GangWhoo Hospital attempted to placate me with a token gesture of offering another session at a reduced price. However, this gesture was hollow, as the reduced price still amounted to the same total cost due to the partial treatment area covered by bruising. Faced with such blatant dishonesty and disregard for our agreement, I flatly refused to accept their offer or provide any further financial support to their corrupt organization.
My experience with GangWhoo Hospital serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and skepticism when dealing with medical establishments. Patients must be vigilant in protecting their rights and ensuring that their agreements are honored in good faith. By shedding light on the deceptive practices of GangWhoo Hospital, I hope to empower others to advocate for transparency and integrity in their interactions with healthcare providers.

Was the price for the single laser session still a good price?
Hi Jan. I paid a little less than $700 for fractional laser of the face and front of neck. If you check on groupon, you can find the same for less than $400, or elsewhere prices ranging from $450 to $1100. So for 2 sessions of which I agreed to, the price wasn't too bad, but for 1 session especially taking into account that it was in Vietnam, the price was excessive. I was very adamant I had paid for 2 sessions, and although very surprised, I welcomed that they had a recording of my consult. After listening to the recording and verifying the agreement, I was left in the room alone for a few minutes. I thought finally I would get some "justice", but it didn't take long for Gangwhoo to shine their true colours again. They flat out refused to do another treatment unless I paid for another session. I could only do the neck this time (due to bruising on my face), and they offered me their best price of $300. I refused, and made mention that back in Australia I could actually get it done for $250. They immediately price matched it - so much for their best price. I promptly refused and left their crooked establishment for the last time.
